Hey Amazing Backer, 

It's been a bit of time since we last spoke!  How's it going? Hope all is well! We have been extremely busy over the past few weeks micromanaging the production phase of the B-2 Blitz knives. 

We are super excited to announce that we are ahead of schedule and should be able to deliver these knives to you in mid-late January. 

So far, casing and blade production have been finished. 

We're currently checking on production as well as quality checking every single B-2 Blitz Blade. We want to ensure that all of our knives live up to our lifetime warranty (as we do for our other products). 

It's a promise that we made to you when you supported and pledged for our project. 

Additionally, our molds are ready and a majority of the production has been pressed.

Keep in mind, we will not send out surveys until production is finished. We want to ensure that everyone provides us with their updated addresses in case they move when we are ready for the fulfillment process. 

Once we send out the surveys (approx. in a few weeks), you'll be able to fill out your best shipping address as well as with any other additional information we may need to make the fulfillment process even more efficient.

Quick update - Production Updates, Fulfillment and Black Friday!

Hello Backer! 

Hope all is well with you for this week! 

As mentioned in our last update, we went on ahead and used our own, out-of-pocket funds to start production earlier to move things along faster for you! 

Since we received the funds via Kickstarter last week, we've also already started the production of the kraft bag packaging as well for the B-2 Blitz. 

Again, with this plan of action in mind, the packaging as well as the B-2 Blitz Knives should finish simultaneously at the same time. :) 

Shipping + Surveys 

For international backers, we will be marking the package as a "gift" and a value of $7-12 USD (depending on the country) to avoid any customs fees or complications (it should be smooth sailing!) 

For surveys, we've decided to use Backerkit once again for our post-Kickstarter campaign fulfillment process. As production comes closer to an end, we will be sending out surveys to collect everyone's shipping information as well as any other additional information we may need in the next 3- 4 weeks (subject to change depending on the timeline of the production of the knives).

We find that it is best to wait until then to collect information as people tend to move or be in different locations. This way, we'll be able make the fulfillment process a lot smoother which results in faster shipping for the B-2 Blitz Blade ;)

B-2 Blitz Production has BEGUN (a bit earlier)!

Hope your week is going well! We have some great news to share with you!

B-2 BLITZ PRODUCTION HAS BEGUN! 

We were planning to wait a bit longer to receive our Kickstarter funds before starting production, but we went on ahead, used our own, out-of-pocket funds and decided to start production earlier to move things along faster for you!  Every day counts and we're taking full advantage to optimize speed and get these knives to you ASAP. 

Currently, the casing of the B-2 Blitz knives are in production. In about two weeks or so, up next will be the production of the blades. 

Here are some pictures below of the casing production: 

We should be receiving the Kickstarter funds soon. Once we receive it, we will begin production of the packaging as well. With this plan of action in mind, packaging as well as the B-2 Blitz Knives should finish simultaneously at the same time. 

For this campaign, we've decided to use the same packaging that we used for our previous campaign, the B-2 Nano Blade (kraft bags). 

Kraft Bag Features

• It is a very strong, durable waxed kraft bag
• Eco-friendly 
• Creates a very small carbon footprint
• Slim profile for easier and more efficient shipping

This means the B-2 Blitz Blade will ship very discreetly. Some countries have tighter restrictions so this is the best option for getting the blade to you quickly with no issues from customs. :)

Thank you so much for being a part of our campaign and community! We did it! Just some hours ago, we literally ended our campaign with over $88,000 in funding and exactly, 923 backers. 

YOU have made the B-2 Pocket Knife Collection - BLITZ, a SMALL pocket knife designed and created by all of our backers possible! So, thank you! You did an amazing job from the design process and all the way until we finished this campaign!

Here's is the game plan for what is next to come: 

1. In the upcoming weeks, we'll be setting up surveys via Backerkit. Once surveys are ready to be sent, we will notify you via updates on when we will be sending out the surveys so that you can fill out your information. 

We estimate that we will be sending out these surveys in about perhaps, 1-2 months depending on when we receive production (again it looks like it might be possible to get these knives to you by January, no promises just yet). 

Again, we will be sure to keep you posted with more news as we go via updates. :) 

2. Once we receive the funds from Kickstarter (about two weeks), we'll place the order of about 5,000 knives with our manufacturer and mass produce the B-2 Blitz in one full-on production. 

As mentioned in our previous update, everything is in place and ready to go with our manufacturers.

Hello Awesome Backer,

This week just flew by and we only have 3 days left in our campaign (can you believe that?)!  

Since we are coming to an end soon, we'll discuss with you the production plan on what we plan to do after post-Kickstarter campaign. 

Production Plan

This will be our 4th campaign that we are wrapping up so with over 6 years of experience in production, quality checking, logistics, and the fulfillment process all should run pretty smoothly. 

From the looks of this campaign, it looks as if we're going to mass produce about 5,000 B-2 Blitz Blade.  

Here's a brief break down of what we have done / what we have planned:

1. We are now currently running the numbers of the knives to see what are the best options we have in terms of cost, quality and efficiency to produce the best damn knife that you can have. We've spoke with our manufactures and will produce approximately 5,000 units in one full-on production while simultaneously working on the packaging for the B-2 Blitz. 

We'll be using a very similar packaging to our last packaging we used in the B-2 Nano Blade (kraft packaging). The packaging will be discreet, light, and simple - making shipping as streamline as possible.

We will also ensure that the quality of the knives will be nothing but the best. As you may recall, we do carry a life-time warranty for ALL products including our newest product, the B-2 Blitz. 

2. We've been communicating with our manufacturing partners throughout the entire process for a smooth and streamlined process for production to get these knives in your hands ASAP! 

All sourced raw materials needed to create the product are set to go. Everything is prepped and ready for our manufacture to start mass producing the knives. :)

3. For the packaging as mentioned earlier, it looks like we'll go with kraft bags for our knives once again. With kraft bags, we find that this is the best option for packaging as it has quality, design aesthetic, efficiency for a faster process in shipping and is the best eco-friendly solution! 

The kraft packaging is pretty thick and is strong enough to house the B-2 Blitz safely. In addition, the packaging is minimal and discrete, meaning... it is the most effective way of getting to you in a jiffy. ;) 

Similar our last campaign, we will also include photos, production pictures of the entire process to keep you updated the entire way. With that being said, we will also be including more pictures of the packaging for the B-2 Blitz as well in future updates. 

Expedited Delivery

Again, since we won't have any stretch goals for this campaign, we will take a look into what we can do to expedite the shipping process for this project. If we are able to expedite the shipping process of this campaign, we should be able to deliver your reward(s) to you around January! We surely will keep you posted with that as well!
